I am reading a newspaper and suddenly came across this topic . I just find it quiet interesting and hope for the same from you.

THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS


Over nine months in 1898, two maneless male lions allegedly attached and killed over 140 workers building a British rail bridge across Tsavo River in Uganda and Kenya.

THE TIGERS OF CHOWGARH

This mother and son duo of Royal Bengal tigers were responsible for the death of at least 64 people in Kumaon over five years. In 1930, Jim Corbett shot and killed them both.

THE JAWS OF JERSEY 

In july 1916, four people were killed while swimming along the coast of New Jersey by what was said to be a 9-foot long, 500-pound shark. The death inspired the spielberg film JAWS.

THE GOONCH CATFISH

A series of fatal attacks on humans were believed to be perpetrated by 6-foot long man-eating goonch catfish on the banks of kali River in India and Nepal, between 1998 and 2007.

OLD TWO TOES


A ferocious grizzly bear,nick-named Old Two Toes ( because it chewed three of its own toes to evade capture), turned man-eater and rampaged through Montana,USA, in 1898.
